FAQs

We'd love for you to tell everyone you know about your Sponsored Child and their progress. You can share your child's video and tell all your friends about your decision to sponsor. However, there are a few things you need to know to ensure your Sponsored Child and their families are kept safe.

Please do not share anything that can identify your Sponsored Child – this includes their last name, village name, sponsorship ID or school name – and please do not try to get in touch via social media or any online channels.

As a sponsor, you're making a huge difference to the life of your Sponsored Child and their community so, please join us in protecting your Sponsored Child and keeping their identity safe.
It's not possible to specify that your future gift goes to support your sponsored child. As it may be many years before your gift becomes a reality, we want to make sure your gift goes where it’s needed most at the time. This means that as our work evolves to better serve children and families in the world’s toughest places, your gift can evolve with it. Please trust our experienced leadership team to use your gift where it’s needed most, so you can make the greatest impact for future generations.
We understand that you may wish to keep the contents of your Will entirely to yourself. However, we encourage you to let us know if you have included a gift to World Vision New Zealand to help us plan for the future with confidence.

We want to thank you during your lifetime, welcome you to our Visionaries Group and keep you or your trustees informed of the impact gifts in Wills are making now.

If you wish to remain anonymous, this will be honoured.
It is important to us that we partner with your church's vision and special character. To do this we have a range of different resources, speakers and events that will engage your church. To find out more please contact our Church Partnerships team at church@worldvision.org.nz or 0800 800776.
