Nearly all families now have clean, safe drinking water! For an area often in drought, this is huge. New toilets and better hygiene mean children can protect themselves from water-related diseases.

You helped build classrooms, start preschools, and train teachers. You provided school supplies and emergency food to children forced to flee their homes. Your love helped kids keep learning and dreaming.

With encouragement from his sponsor, the Brenstrum family, and support from World Vision, his family gained access to clean water, education, and livelihood support. His mother now runs a thriving market garden, providing food and income for the family.
Today, Habibou is healthy, in school, and dreaming of becoming an emergency responder to protect and serve his community. “You’ve given me hope to realise my dreams,” he says with gratitude.

Girls leading change

Safer water for every child
"I used to walk a long way to get water. With this new system, getting drinking water has improved a lot. The risks related to water have been reduced for children,” says Fatoumata, age 14 (centre)
Building safer toilets
Sanplat slabs improve the hygiene and safety of pit latrines. "With training, we've made hundreds of slabs to bring safe toilets to our community. Thanks for this invaluable support,” says Sadou, a local mason.
From learning to advocacy
